Flight has always captured our imagination. We dream of soaring through the sky ourselves but know that it's a fanciful dream, one that momentarily becomes reality through sport. A short film from Arc'teryx, entitled "The Joy of Air," presents a world in which human flight is only constrained by the limits of our imagination. Directed by Bryan Smith of Reel Water Productions, the beautiful black and white footage is set to the words of writer Fitz Cahall, who reminds us that even as we reach for the heavens, "what goes up, must come down."
