We brought you the story of the birth of the Casio G-Shock series of timepieces last September, which included releasing four new watches from their 30th Anniversary “Rising Red” collection. But the GW-9330A-4JR (aka the Mudman) deserves special 1-on-1 attention. Even though all members of the celebratory release include red bands and bezels, gold tinted LCD’s, other black and gold detailing, and custom casebacks, none of the watches feature as many elements that this model does. Built to protect its precision timing against 7 different elements, including electric shock, gravity, temperature, vibration, water, shock, and impact, all thanks to the fact that its internal components are sealed with urethane and are suspended within modules inside its structure, making it one of the toughest (and masculine) watches to carry the Casio name. The Mudman releases Friday, March 1, exclusively at London’s end clothing, arriving along with its own special edition packaging.
