Initiative in bringing back exercise-related coursework to schools.

Because of a number of circumstances, including budget restraints and changing lifestyle, only 1 out of 3 children in the U.S. are active on a daily basis. In addition only 6 states require these courses in every grade. However, there are ample statistics which show the benefits of a daily 60 minutes routine in a child. Regular physical activities not only improve health, but classroom behaviors, attendance levels, and test scores.

In bring attention to the matter, Mark Parker, Nike President & CEO, will be joining First Lady Michelle Obama later on today for an important announcement.
