Lush with color, stacked with intimidating curves and ridges, and full of picturesque views, this 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 is certainly worth writing home about. Oh, and the Swiss Alps are nice, too. Porsche fans new and old are benefiting from the fact that the 911 has reached its 50th birthday with the latest model bearing the brand’s nameplate well-deserving of the honor, complete with a new fixed rear wing, a curvy body kit, and 20-inch wheels to help drive all 450 horses down into the pavement. Powered by a naturally-aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six boxer engine, this GT3 will come with their dual-clutch PDK transmission (sorry manual lovers) that is connected to Porsche’s first-ever active rear-wheel steering. Other impressive stats include 325 lb-ft of torque, a 3.5 second 0-60mph time, and a top out speed of 195 mph.
