Founded by Jun Takahashi in the mid-1990s, Undercover continues to cast a long shadow in the menswear firmament. The lookbook for the label’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection showcases an especially strong outerwear program, highlighted by a shearling jacket and wool overcoat in a bold cranberry hue, effectively bridging the gap between city and country. Knitwear is another impressive focal point, seen in basic crewnecks paired with a nylon flight jacket or Shetland sweaters worn underneath rustic herringbone suiting. Silhouettes are decidedly narrow and trim, while the color palette is dominated by earthen tones, accented with graphics that give the nod to subtle street-ready influences.
