Stussy x Keiichi Tanaami – Spring/Summer 2013 T-Shirt Collection

By - March 8th, 2013

If Japanese avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama altered the concept of performance art, then it is certain that Keiichi Tanaami did the same for graphics. In addition his pivotal work for Playboy Magazine as its first Art Director in Japan, album cover art for Jefferson Airplane and The Monkees, and his most recent collaboration with Moncler, will be a Stussy graphic tee series based on his works. In what could only be described as “Salvador Dalí on acid”, Tanaami’s psychedelic images and otherworldly prints adorned four distinctive t-shirts. Part of its Spring/Summer 2013 Collection, the series is set to be available soon through Stussy dealers worldwide, like end clothing of England.
