Leica X2 White Limited Edition Camera for Daimaru Shinsaibashi Leica

Japanese’s love affair for everything Leica continues this week with the opening of Daimaru Shinsaibashi Leica, a shop-in-shop retail experience within Osaka’s Daimaru Department Store. To celebrate the special occasion and to coincide White Day, the camera maker created the Leica X2 White limited edition. Based on the new Leica X2 compact digital camera, each comes with a 16.2-megapixel APS-C size CMOS image sensor, a 2.7-inch LCD display, and a fixed 36mm f/2.8 lens. But the most notable feature is the textured white leather finish and matching carrying strap. A Daimaru Shinsaibashi Leica exclusive, only 100 units will be available for purchase starting on Wednesday, March 13th, making it a perfect gift for White Day.
