Remember Zack the Lego Manic? Even with all his crazy, Lego-induced antics, he’s got nothing on this 1:1 scale Ferrari F1 made entirely out of Legos. Unveiled just a week away from the official start of the 2013 Formula One World Championship season, which starts with the Rolex Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, this life-size Ferrari F1 Lego car is a world’s first. Debuted in Melbourne by official Ferrari Scuderia drivers Fernando Alonso and Felip Massa, this model is a highly accurate recreation of the real thing, including the addition of real Pirelli race tires, a seat that can actually hold a driver, and even a removable steering wheel. Unfortunately, the co-branded effort between Shell and LEGO is light on details around its specs, the most important being a brick count. Beginning March 18, fans can purchase a mini Ferrari Lego kit of their own at Shell locations across Australia, featuring one of six models: the F40, the 458 Italia, the FXX, the 250 GT Berlinetta, the Scuderia Ferrari Truck, and a hand-held F150 Italia.
