When we found out last year that mastermind JAPAN designer and founder Masaaki Homma planned to show his last collection in the Spring/Summer 2013 season, it seemed so far away. But now that it is actually upon us, it has begun to slowly sink in that the brand that has been such an iconic feature within Tokyo and beyond is really closing its doors. The last collection for Spring/Summer 2013, however, still doesn’t stray far from the luxury streetwear tilt with its signature rough and edgy look that has ultimately helped it rise to fame. Although it is described as having a “Dreaming” theme, skulls and crossbones play a far stronger role, appearing on the majority of the pieces, which include leather jackets, throwback sweaters, suits, and tees, and accessories. Make sure to catch the entire collection, which clearly shows a brand at its height and far from decline, after the jump.
