The Portland Collection by Pendleton Fall 2013 Collection Lookbook

First previewed last month at PROJECT Las Vegas, the Fall 2013 Portland Collection from Pendleton Woolen Mills gets an official unveiling with a comprehensive lookbook that shows off the brand’s iconic textiles. Each hailing from Portland, Oregon, the design team of Nathaniel Crissman, Rachel Turk and John Blasioli has created the most fully formed collection yet, resulting in an exclusive wool story made up of strong plaids, distinctive jacquards and rich solids. Many of the pieces are enhanced with three unique print directions for the season: the Sonora pattern, rooted in the angular motifs for which Pendleton is famous; the Pinyon Stripe, named for the pine tree used to create the black dye and featuring Navajo blanket-inspired designs; and finally the Pilot Rock pattern, a continuation of the early square designs seen in the Fall 2012 Portland Collection. Check out the menswear lookbook below, featuring woolen fabrics woven exclusively in the Pacific Northwest.
