As part of the UK designer’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, Nigel Cabourn teams up with Converse to introduce the classic Bosey Boot, reworked with military-inspired design notes. Featuring a navy or army green colorway, the kicks hark back to the Second World War, when Converse supplied the military with rubberized footwear, outerwear and protective suits. Here, a rugged rubber sole unit and molded toe cap is combined with an L34 Ventile cloth upper equipped with vented antique brass eyelets, resulting in a durably built sneaker in keeping with Nigel Cabourn’s heritage aesthetic.
