Subaru WRX Concept Preview

While fans eagerly await the eventual arrival of a new Subaru WRX, which dropped the Impreza name in 2012 as a show of separation from its former platform-mate, these recently leaked images of a WRX concept hint at the design language of the next-gen model. They reveal styling modifications that convey both power and aggressiveness, featuring a prominent hood scoop and grille, as well as hawk-eye headlights. The stance is lower and wider than the current WRX, with a carbon fiber roof and reworked rear fascia complemented with massive quad exhausts trimmed in fluorescent yellow. No official word from Subaru when the next WRX is set to debut, so in the meantime check out the gallery below and let’s hope the production model doesn’t stray too far from this sleek concept.
