Just a day before the launch of its all-important collaboration with fashion house Maison Martin Margiela, Casio G-Shock unveiled its new line-up for the month of April. Keeping with G-Shock’s 30th Anniversary Celebration this year, Casio will be re-issuing three models from 1983, the DW-5030C-1JR, DW-6930C-1JR, and GW-5530C-1JR. With only minute alterations and updates, G-Shock kept all three to the original 1983 specifications as much as possible. Next month will also see the GLX-150 design, a new addition to the popular G-LIDE collection. For a side-by-side comparison between the old and the new, G-Shock also added the GWX-5600, an updated variants of the original G-LIDE model, for good measure. The new editions will be available throughout the month of April in Japan first, with worldwide availability to come later on this year.
