Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Clover/Celtics | Release Reminder

Honoring one of professional basketball’s greatest rivalry, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Clover”, or known as the “Celtics” in some circles, highlights the 1985-1986 NBA season. Despite his absence for most of the season due to a broke foot, Michael Jordan was still able to score 63 points during Game 2 of the NBA Playoff against Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics. Appointed in Celtics team colors, the design includes details like a tonal “parquet” appliqué on the Clover-colored overlays, a nod to the old Boston Garden’s parquet wooden floor. Because the original edition pre-dates the formation of Jordan Brand, brandings include the old “Nike Air Jordan” wings emblem near the heel and the “Nike Air” logo on the tongue tag. Finally, portion of the insole, as well as the outsole and Nike Swoosh are in gold colorway, references to the old Celtic lore.

Available starting today at select Jordan Brand accounts and retailers such as ONENESS, EXTRA BUTTER, and Overkill in Berlin. The shoe will also be for sale at NikeTown and
