By know we have all seen the artworks of Shepard Fairey on the streets and in galleries. However, this short film is not about the current state of the famed artist. Julian Marshall, director of Obey The Giant, goes back into the early years, when young Fairey was attending Rhode Island School of Design. This story is based on true events that occurred during 1989 – 1992. Marshall produced this film for his thesis while attending Rhode Island School of Design, with support from generous partners such as Kickstarter and Learned Devices.
