Graffiti used to be an underground art form, where only the participants understood the culture. Although in the new millennium, advent of internet has unveiled the mystique in graffiti writer’s activities. This is a bold move by writers, as they are now filming themselves committing crimes, from breaking and entering to painting trains in the yard. Over here in North America, graffiti on trains have become almost obsolete – except for hardcore writers still hitting them on occasion – yet; European writers are still very active in pursuing this risky game. Montana Colors releases their latest documentary, The MTN Diaries 2: Hardcore 2013, chronicling the activities of hardcore writers in several European cities. This one-hour video compiles an up-to-date footage from Athens, Milan, and Paris.
