Fans of high-end compact cameras may have just felt a chill down their spine after looking at Panasonic‘s Lumix DMC-LF1. While everyone else around you is snapping pictures of their friends and family with their iPhone camera, those who are still a bit more traditional about it should select this model, complete the ability to share their images easily thanks to the LF1’s built-in WiFi with NFC pairing and a complementary app. In addition to that, there’s no way cellphones can compete with a 1/1.7-inch, 12-megapixel CMOS sensor and a 28-200mm equivalent f2.0-5.9 Leica zoom lens or the ability to capture 1,920/60i video with AVCHD and MP4 recording, POWER OIS, a 200K EVF, and a slew of shooting modes like full manual control and panorama. While there isn’t a set arrival date or sticker price, you can probably expect this Panasonic Lumix DMC-LF1 to run you at least $500. Until then check out the additional preview shots after the click.
