The media onslaught documenting the return of Daft Punk shows no signs of abating. The latest salvo takes the form of a June 2013 cover story from Dazed & Confused, featuring a photo spread shot by Hedi Slimane. Some of the images contain the robots posing with a third party (a first for the duo) — namely, Giorgio Moroder, who convened with Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo for a “secret pop summit” in Los Angeles. In an online preview of the print issue dropping this Wednesday, the trio runs through a number of topics (Daft Punk marvel at the hype surrounding the release of Random Access Memories, Moroder contemplates his legacy), making for a tasty appetizer ahead of the main course.
