Based on a new user interface with connectivity for social media and downloadable contents, the much anticipated title will be offering a total of 1200 cars plus a fresh crop of new vehicles for download periodically. Sony and its Polyphony Digital subsidiary also added thousands of virtual aerodynamic kits, performance parts, and custom wheels to almost all vehicle options so players will have limitless options on personalize their own custom game cars.
To further the realistic aspect of this racing simulator title, Sony created a new virtual track based on the famed Silverstone Circuit in the UK. Now, just one of the seven new locations within Gran Turismo 6, wannabe racecar drivers can take on all 33 different tracks plus 71 different layouts at their disposal.
