BMW M3, long the standard-bearer for performance sedans, will undergo a series of transformation this coming model year. Weighing less the current design with minor cosmetic alterations, the 2014 BMW M3 will be featuring a new six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine with twin-turbo under its hood instead. The change will add about 30 horsepower to the current configuration, with a new total output at around 450 horsepower. The additional power translates to an expected 0 to 62 mph time of just 4.3 seconds, three-tenth faster than the 2013 model. Furthermore, the powerplant boost up the total torque to 550Nm @ 2,000rpm. Slated to debut at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show in November, the new M3 will be retailing at around £55,000 GBP or $83,640 USD.
