The original two-sport athlete is being honored by the brand that made him a cultural icon. Earlier this week we took a look at an upcoming Nike Air Trainer Max ’91 that had the Raiders emblem and a 34 stitched on the back heel. An additional detail was the “Bo Knows” embroidered on the straps making it a fairly safe assumption that the shoe was in tribute to athletic great Bo Jackson . Today, Nike confirmed that assumption with the official announcement of the “Bo Pack”. Bo Jackson is considered by many to be one of the greatest athletes to ever play professional sports. Excelling at both baseball and football, he was the key figure in the 1988 “Just Do It” campaign and the following year, the “Bo Knows” campaign was launched and “Bo” was suddenly a global name. In addition to the aforementioned trainers, the pack also includes a Bo Jackson Nike NFL Game White Jersey and will be available tomorrow, May 25th, at select Nike retailers.
