CONVERSE recently took over an unused section of the Port of Barcelona, transforming the area into the inaugural CONS SPACE. Representing the intersection point of skateboarding, music and art, the initiative was created in part by global CONVERSE Skateboarding ambassadors Kenny Anderson, Pontus Alv and Javier Mendizabal. Their input was integral to the design of the unique skate spot, one that utilized the abandoned industrial materials left over along the docks at the base of Montjuïc. On May 18th, CONS SPACE 001 BCN hosted a daylong series of epic sessions. Rune Glifberg, Tom Remillard, Remy Taviera, Javier Mendizabal, Jerome Campbell, Harry Lintell, Danny Sommerfeld and Ben Raemers joined Kenny, Pontus and Javier, as well as local artists Txemy Basuelto, Fernando Elvira and Ruben Sanchez. The event was wrapped up with live music from The Bots and Black Lips. Check out the highlights in the video below.
