Daft Punk & Lotus F1 Team Join Forces for the 2013 Monaco Grand Prix

Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo made a rare public appearance this past Sunday at the http://grand-prix-monaco.com/formula1monaco/” target=”_blank”>Monaco Grand Prix, showing their support for their British Formula 1 racing team, http://lotusf1team.com/” target=”_blank”>Lotus F1. (Daft Punk’s record label, http://columbiarecords.com/” target=”_blank”>Columbia, is a Lotus team media partner.) Unfortunately, the Daft Punk-themed car, driven by Romain Grosjean, failed to “get lucky,” retiring 15 laps before the finish following a collision with another driver.
