Subtitled “Siege of Shanghai,” Battlefield 4 from http://ea.com/” target=”_blank”>EA and http://dice.se/” target=”_blank”>Dice promises the “glorious chaos” of 64 players waging all-out war against one another while the entire city of Shanghai becomes collateral damage. Thanks to an onboard Frostbite 3 engine, the game’s Shanghai map appears detailed enough to accommodate all 64 players, featuring a cityscape that players can traverse on foot or in vehicles, not to mention boats and helicopters. The defining addition to the game is commander mode, which allows one player on either team to control combat maneuvers, including in-game missile strikes or gunship deployments. Battlefield 4 launches October 29th for current-gen consoles and PC. Check out the trailer below, as well as a multiplayer demo from http://e3expo.com/” target=”_blank”>E3 2013.
