Marrying an Android 4.2-based smartphone with a 16-megapixel camera, the Samsung S4 Galaxy Zoom caters to the budding photographer, featuring a 10x optical zoom lens and Xenon Flash. On the phone side, the S4 Zoom features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 960×540 resolution; a 1.5GHz dual-core processor; 8GB of internal memory, expandable with a microSD card slot for up to 64GB more memory; and LTE network connectivity. On the camera side, there’s an image-stabilized lens with a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-240mm, and aperture ranging from f3.1 to f6.3. The sensor can shoot at ISO sensitivity ranging from 100 to 3,200. Finally, twisting a special “Zoom Ring” can launch in-call photo sharing or access additional camera modes. The Samsung S4 Galaxy Zoom is set to launch this summer in the U.K., with availability in the rest of Europe and the U.S. scheduled for later in the year.
