Taking its name from the host city of Giswil, Switzerland, http://kawsone.com/” target=”_blank”>KAWS‘ “Giswil” exhibition opened last week at http://moregallery.ch/” target=”_blank”>More Gallery. The centerpiece of the show is two massive wooden Companion figures, one standing in a slumped posture and the other seated, both reminiscent of the http://freshnessmag.com/2011/05/30/karimoku-x-originalfake-%E2%80%93-kaws-companion-figure-wood-edition-detailed-images/” target=”_blank”>collaboration with Japanese furniture maker Karimoku but blown up to an impressive scale. In addition to the towering sculptures, the exhibition will also include paintings in the New York artist’s inimitable style. The KAWS Giswil Exhibition at More Gallery is open every day through https://artbasel.com/” target=”_blank”>Art Basel and will continue until August 26th.
