A reflection to its ever changing purpose and how users utilize its famous notebooks, Moleskine will be rolling out a new brand logo later on this year. Designed by creative agency A+G Achilli Ghizzardi Associati in Milan, the new logo placed emphasis on the letter “M,” with slight curves and roundness to its corners. It is also the first proprietary font specifically created for Moleskine in the brand’s history. Along with the new logo, Achilli Ghizzardi Associati also designed a new monogram graphic, featuring eight cubes lined in the shape of a square. Each cube or module will acts as a window, a way to address the various contexts and contents you will find in one’s Moleskine notebook. In its statement, Moleskine says, “…the intention was to create a fluid visual icon that communicates its multi-faceted and open nature while unifying its many objects, types of users and brand values.” The new logo and monogram will be integrated into Moleskine’s various product line starting early next year.
