Romain Jerome Moon Orbiter Tourbillon

Known for incorporating exotic materials in the construction of its watches, Romain Jerome‘s Moon Orbiter Tourbillon continues the brand’s “DNA of legends” theme, built in part with actual moon dust (used on the dial) and metal from the Apollo 11 (used in the case). Just 25 units of the limited edition timepiece were produced, each carrying a $115,000 price tag and featuring a bold, avant-garde design with oversized dimensions — 49mm x 45mm x 20mm. Pneumatic piston-mounted lugs allow the case to sit on the wrist, while five sapphire crystals allow an inside look at the sculptural flying tourbillon movement, both from the back and side. Check out detailed looks below.
