For his Spring 2014 Moncler Gamme Bleu menswear show in Milan, Thom Browne looked to the sport of cricket for inspiration. The American designer says he wanted to cast the spotlight on the fabrics used throughout the collection; consequently, he removed color from the equation, creating pieces in the starkest white to show off the textures and technical fabrics involved. Browne's signature tricolor stripes provided the only bit of color, appearing on the plackets and hems of cropped cricket sweaters and insulated jackets. Black lipstip and outsized proportions provided the off-kilter sensibility that has become a hallmark of the designer's runway shows. Check out the rest of the looks in the gallery below.
