Miami was still buzzing from the Heat’s second straight NBA championship, and the celebratory mood carried on to last Saturday’s Sneaker Con. One of the biggest Sneaker Cons to date, the event was highlighted by the presence of Li Ning, who sold their Way of Wade sneakers in the U.S. for the first time. (All pairs were snatched up in an hour.) LeBron James’ manager Randy Mims stopped by to pick up a few pairs for himself, adding to a collection that included the coveted Nike LeBron X Low “2 Time Champion” on his feet. It was a packed house, featuring the biggest attendance to date and setting the bar high for the next Sneaker Con, which rolls into NYC on July 13th.
