Opening Ceremony Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear Collection

Creative Directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon are entertaining their love of geometric prints in their Opening Ceremony Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear collection. Tedious patterns in black and white are found lining the collars of all black shirts, while other pieces exhibit triangles, rectangles, and squares in red, white, gray, and blue from head to toe. The season’s wardrobe also features oversized coats in a flashy champagne textile, baggy t-shirts with a graphic detail on the pocket, and large rectangles along the outside thigh of some straight-legged pants. And although the busy prints convey the feeling of urgency and excitement, that feeling is directly contradicted by the loose, relaxed drapery found throughout looks.
