Last month Instagram introduced video for the immensely popular photo sharing app (likely signaling the death knell for Vine), and today the service is making it possible to embed Instagram videos and photos across the Web. Now when you view an Instagram photo or video, you’ll notice a new share button off to the right, directly underneath the comments button. Click it and it’ll bring up the embed code, which you can copy and paste onto your blog post or website. The embedded photo or video will appear with your Instagram user name, and clicking on the company’s logo will open your Instagram page. And rest assured, the embed code is only available for public photos and videos.
