Nike has unveiled the away kit for Juventus‘ 2013 – 2014 season, the yellow and blue color scheme paying homage to the club’s home city of Turin. The modern-fit polo-style jersey is inspired by the shirt worn by Juventus during its 1983 – 84 European Cup Winners’ Cup victory, featuring sleeves edged with two horizontal stripes in black and white to reflect the traditional colors of Juventus. There’s also a club shield with founding year 1897 set inside the neck, plus two side splits in the shirt with contrasting blue inserts to match the shorts. The blue shorts in turn have a yellow Swoosh adorning the hem of the left leg, matching the socks that complete the kit. Recycled polyester is used to make the jersey and shorts, reflecting Nike’s commitment to sustainability, while Nike Dri-FIT technology is lightweight and wicks moisture away from the body.
