It may not be a carpet, but CONVERSE Skateboarding Ambassador Kenny Anderson still makes riding his bike look magical. Helping him along with the tricks – which are seen in the video after the click – is a new set of his signature sneakers, which debut today for Fall 2013. The new style, the CONS KA-II, is a skateboarder’s sneaker that infuses just enough of the brand’s performance technology without taking away from its style, including Nike Lunarlon sockliners, memory foam, and a gusseted tongue for a custom fit. Underfoot, an All Star Traction Rubber fused with a Flex Rubber Cup Sole helps to increase board feel and grip. The video joining the debut is equally special, entitled “The Joy Ride,” as it takes him through the streets and allows him to live vicariously through others he meets, before ending with Anderson handing off his kicks to an elderly man to continue the journey. The CONVERSE CONS KA-II is available now in three colorways at both Converse retailers as well as their own online site for $75.
