Wear-tested by Blake Griffin and inspired by the L.A. Clippers star’s high-flying style, the Jordan Super.Fly 2 was unveiled at the Jordan Take Flight event in Beijing on Tuesday. The shoe is the third model in the Jordan Brand stable to incorporate Flight Plate technology, following the Air Jordan XX8 and Jordan Trunner Dominate Pro. Using a Pebax moderator plate to maximize the responsiveness of the Nike Zoom units in the forefoot, Flight Plate technology redirects and redistributes the energy that the foot exerts on the ground, propelling the wearer’s game with explosive lift-offs. Dynamic Fit technology utilizes internal straps integrated with the laces, wrapping up the midsole for lightweight support that moves with the foot during sharp cuts and abrupt changes in direction. Finally, Hyperfuse construction delivers breathable wear without compromising durability or support. The Jordan Super.Fly 2 launches in a series of introductory colorways starting August 1st.
