Soon a new black and yellow bug will be buzzing around on a road near you with the release of Volkswagen‘s limited-edition 2014 Beetle GSR. Inspired by the original 1970’s “Yellow Black Racer,” the 2014 version will retain a prominent black and yellow paint scheme on its exterior, visually setting it apart while its 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine seals the deal. Capable of putting out 210 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque, this Beetle will be limited to just 3,500 units worldwide. Inside the cabin, the same color combination is on display, with a yellow accent stitching for the black leather surfaces, including the sport seats, steering wheels (with its own serialized plaque), dashboard, and shifter, joined by a Fender Audio System, panoramic sunroof, and an RNS 315 navigation system. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, but you can get it with a dual-clutch for an additional $1,100 on top of the $29,995 baseline sticker price.
