That is about to change this August when the sneakers/sportswear retailer opens a new retail location in the neighborhood of Shinjuku. Just north of Shibuya and Harajuku, the new flagship is right across from Shinjuku train station and steps away from http://takashimaya.co.jp/” target=”_blank”>Shinjuku Takashimaya Times Square department store. Dubbed “Sports Lab by atmos,” and designed by http://torafu.com” target=”_blank”>TORAFU Architects, best known for their minimalistic approach on http://aesop.com” target=”_blank”>AESOP Shibuya flagship, the store features approximately 200 square meters of space with decor fashioned in recycled building materials taken from a gym. In addition to the popular brands it already offers, like HEAD PORTER, Nike, The North Face, retaW, and others, the larger space allows atmos to add more names in its brand portfolio. Sports Lab by atmos is set to open on Saturday, August 3rd.
