Using inspiration from the surrounding landscape and the passion of their fans as inspiration, Nike Soccer unveils the 2013/2014 Home and Away Kit for Mexico's premier soccer club, C.F. Monterrey. In addition to the famed blue and white stripes that have earned the team their nickname of "Rayados" or "The Striped Ones," Nike integrates new orange details into the crossover V-neck collar and cuffs on the sleeves of the Home shirt to represent the loyalty and passion of the club's fans. The away shirt is also covered in a bold tonal blue and white checkered pattern that stands for the strength of the club, which comes from a close interlocking bond between the fans and players. Inside both jerseys, which are made from Dri-FIT-infused, dynamic athletic cut recycled polyester, a label with the team's evocative landmark, Cerro de la Silla (Saddle Mountain), is stitched inside. The northern Mexico club hopes to continue their string of three consecutive CONCACAF Champions League titles while wearing this kit when the Liga MX season officially kicks off in the coming weeks.
