The new Lumix DMC-FZ270 from Panasonic features the most zoom range in a point-and-shoot camera, featuring a 161.1MP sensor and 20mm lens capable of 60x zoom, all packed in a compact body measuring 5.1 inches wide by 3.8 inches high by 4.7 inches deep. Additional details include a variable aperture of F2.8-5.9, and HD video recording topping out at 60FPS for 1080i and 720p resolutions. A powered optical image stabilize system keeps things steady, while a built-in Dolby-certified microphone has a windscreen to help better capture stereo sound. Additionally, the FZ70’s Venus Engine processors are capable of full-resolution continuous shooting at up 9 frames per second or 5fps with autofocus.
