Using an ultra-wide angle Canon f/2.8 fisheye lens, the Vikia Mini can record a centered 1920 x 1440 resolution image and easily switch between video and image viewing mode using its built-in integrated 2.7-inch capacitive-tilt touch panel LCD display. Footage is recorded in MP4 format, which saves to a microSD card, allowing you to quickly move the footage to other devices, including still images shot with its 12.8 megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor. Additional features include Wi-Fi connectivity,a three position stand, and integrated speakers for easy play-back. The new Canon Vixia Mini Compact Personal Camcorder will be hitting stores beginning this September for $299 in both a black and white colors for its ultra-slim compact body.
