Famous Guns by Federico Mauro

Italian designer http://federicomauro.eu/” target=”_blank”>Federico Mauro calls his “Famous Guns” collection a “personal project, just for fun.” As the title suggests, the following images feature assorted firearms from popular culture, showcasing everything from Han Solo’s blaster to Dirty Harry’s Smith & Wesson revolver. You’ll also see famous relics from American history (like Lee Harvey Oswald’s rifle) and weapons that take liberty with the “Famous Guns” title (Anton Chigurh’s captive bolt pistol from No Country for Old Men). According to Mauro, the images were “randomly selected via Internet search,” and strung together they make up a gallery of oddly evocative art pieces. Check out more famous guns in the gallery below, and go to Mauro’s http://federicomauro.eu/11918/works” target=”_blank”>site to see his “Famous Glasses” and “Famous Guitars” series.
