To many graffiti writers, painting steel is what they aspire to, since it is the roots of the whole graffiti movement. Although, European graffiti writers, Sat One and ROID, took on steel of a different kind recently for The Hanger One Project. Instead of trains, the two skilled writers were given an opportunity to paint a Boeing 737 airplane. The large commercial plane was covered in gray tones and chrome silver paint from head to tail, top to bottom, in their signature typographic style. Bad weather did not even deter the pair, as rain halted their painting session for some time. This is truly an amazing piece of art, and we only wish that more commercial planes could be this beautiful.
