It’s been a few years since Norse Projects worked together with New Balance on a co-branded sneaker, but this newly unveiled “Danish Weather” pack demonstrates the new collaboration was worth the wait. The kicks take the form of the always popular 1500 in two colorways — one in grey and blue tones to reflect the overcast Scandinavian skies, the other in light brown and burnt orange hues standing in for the autumnal leaves of the region’s forests. A unique design note sees the embroidered “N” on the classic Made In England silhouettes replaced with a stitched-on “N” in reflective material, reminiscent of the trademark on the 993. Both pairs launch this Friday at Norse Projects, followed by a wider global release on August 26th.
