Big John is a notable workwear line in Japan, as it was the country’s first domestically produced jeans company. Since its incorporation in the 1940s, the company has grown to offer a wide array of products for its customers. Opening Ceremony has collaborated with the Japanese brand to produce a Fall/Winter 2013 collection based on their archive items. Furthermore, Johnny Cash and black tones influenced the collection’s aesthetics, as the designers rearranged deadstock styles into modern silhouettes. All of the pieces seen here will be available starting around early October at Opening Ceremony stores and dealers worldwide.
