The most notable enhancement is NFC support, which joins other features, including a touch-sensitive rear display that can flip all the way up for easy self-portraits. It features a 16.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, hybrid phase-detect/contrast autofocus and a video-friendly 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 power zoom lens, replacing the larger 18-55 lens of the NEX-5R. Available colors include black, silver or white, with the black and silver models shipping in September and white following in 2014.
