After several successful capsule collections with designer brands such as Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, and Sonia Rykiel, the Swedish “fast fashion”, multinational retail clothing company H&M will be diving into its own archives to produce a menswear capsule collection for the upcoming fall 2013 season.
The special line channels the archives of old Swedish outdoors store “Mauritz Widforss” and features pieces that fit the urban mode of today. Expect to find multi-pocket wool blazers, waxed cotton utility jackets, quilted shell linings, cardigan jackets, and patched 5-pocket jeans. The form-fitted apparel resonates H&M’s signature practicality while simultaneously upping the ante for future menswear capsule collections.
The well tailored wardrobe is accompanied by an equally impressive accessories line, with products like army-green rucksacks, iPad cases and leather waterproof boots.
The Mauritz Archive Collection will be available via selected stores worldwide on September 19, as well as on H&M’s online shop.
