Levi’s seems to have tapped into the wild imagination of a child in developing their latest lookbook, shining a new light on the usually bright and cheery Levi’s Made & Crafted series for Fall/Winter 2013. The brand draws inspiration for the cuts, styles, and colors from Lake Heron, a short drive north from Detroit, where the designers were drawn to the landscape and the clothes one would need to enjoy their time there, including layers for warmth, thick textures for blankets, and performance cotton to keep yourself cool, yet comfortable. The result is a return of some of their signature prints and knits for both men and women across shirts, accessories, and pants. These looks are joined by a range of colorful denim, soft camo, and pre-worn leathers. Throughout the lookbook, which can be seen after the jump, there is even a whimsical feel to the shots, adding even more depth to the apparel that you can’t help but be drawn into. Expect to see more of these in the weeks to come.
