Fresh Celeb: Pusha T Closed Out Mark McNairy New Amsterdam Runway Show

Because it is less rigid than its womenswear counterparts, presentations and runway shows for menswear have a way to buck conformity, as Mark McNairy New Amsterdam during its runway show for Spring/Summer 2014 Collection. As a way to thank long-time supporters and friends within the industry, McNairy asked designer Greg Chapman, the new appointed Creative Director for Generic Surplus, to be the show’s opener. Around mid-point, the ever stylish Nick Wooster joined in the procession of handsome guys and gorgeous gals. As the reached its end, hip-hop star Pusha T, dressed with McNairy’s humorous “Hey Hey My My Camouflage Will Never Die” t-shirt and the Mark McNairy x #Heineken100 Chukka Saddle Boots, strolled in to cheers and claps of the gathered crowd. Since his very own Play Cloths just had its very first New York presentation last month, was this a rehearsal for Play Cloths‘ runway show next season? Pusha T wouldn’t say except to expect “big things” to come soon…
