Yet another series we all wish we thought of, but that’s the beauty (or is it edge?) of Federico Mauro‘s work. Our draw to his work began with his exploration of some of the most memorable firearms from popular culture in which his Famous Guns series included the likes of Han Solo’s blaster to Dirty Harry’s S&W revolver. Now it continues with the Italian Designer and Art Director’s recap of some of the most Famous Blades, spanning decades of movies, t.v., myth, culture, and video games. The series includes a variety of cutting, chopping, and stabbing tools, including the Grim Reaper’s scythe, Batman’s batarang, Cloud’s Buster Sword, and even the more recent box cutter from Breaking Bad‘s Gus Fring. We thought the addition of Captain Hook’s and Edward Scissorhands’ appendages were a nice touch, too. You know, something for the kids. You can check out the full series after the jump and learn more about his work here.
