Frustrated by the pointless mediocrity of notebooks on the market, graphic designer Joey Cofone decided to take matters into his own hands. With the help of his friends who are designers, illustrators, writers, and entrepreneurs, Cofone has crafted a simple yet functional tool that is the sum of all that is good in the stationary world.
Appropriately named "The Baron Fig" (meaning discipline and impulse), this neat journal opens flat at a full, 180 degrees and features smart dimensions of 5.4" x 7.7", acid-free fine grain paper that won't degrade, is compatible with different types of mediums, and comes in three versions: blank, dotted, or ruled. As writers ourselves, we personally like how the Baron Fig's slightly longer width makes the flow of recording one continuous thought a delightful activity. Any creative soul would be lucky to own such a valuable tool.
If you're keen to help Cofone's project, there are only a few more weeks left until the funding period ends, so donate soon! Learn more about the Baron Fig at KICKSTARTER.
